Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to secure cost-effective, high-quality materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to maximize value and minimize risk.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, finance, logistics) to align procurement with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
- Manage procurement documentation, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements.
- Lead supplier relationship management (SRM) initiatives to foster long-term partnerships and innovation.
- Analyze procurement data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and achieving cost savings.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of global sourcing trends, market dynamics, and supplier risk management.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) is a plus but not required.
