In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless vendor onboarding, maintaining strict adherence to BIR (Bureau of Internal Revenue) and SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) regulations, and leading competitive bid evaluations. Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and onboard vendors in alignment with company procurement policies and cost-efficiency goals.
- Ensure full compliance with BIR, SEC, and other relevant regulatory bodies through meticulous documentation and audits.
- Lead end-to-end bid evaluations, including RFP/RFQ processes, vendor comparisons, and contract negotiations.
- Develop and maintain a robust vendor database, tracking performance metrics and compliance status.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Operations) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and supplier risks to proactively address potential disruptions.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, highlighting savings, compliance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Implement and enforce ethical procurement practices and anti-corruption policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or compliance roles.
- In-depth knowledge of BIR and SEC regulations in the Philippines or equivalent international compliance frameworks.
- Proven track record in bid management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
- Certifications in CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CIPS, or similar are a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote or hybrid setting.
