Responsibility
- Assist in the procurement of goods and services by preparing purchase orders, requests for quotations, and contracts.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the logistics team to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings for cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Support the preparation of procurement reports and presentations for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations in all transactions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather procurement requirements and align them with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize procurement processes.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
