Responsibility
- Monitor and control chemical process operations to ensure optimal production efficiency.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to prevent downtime and ensure safety.
- Record and analyze process data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Conduct routine tests and calibrations of process instruments and equipment.
- Assist in the implementation of new processes and technologies to enhance production capabilities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all process activities and incidents.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or process environment.
- Strong understanding of chemical processes and process control systems.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory standards in chemical manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to work in a 12-hour shift pattern, including nights and weekends.
- Certification in process safety or related areas is a plus.
