Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality assurance, R&D) to standardize workflows and optimize resource utilization.
- Design and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- Oversee the introduction of new processes, equipment, or technologies, including pilot testing, validation, and scaling.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation or process reengineering.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA) in all process-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or production optimization within a high-tech or industrial environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory for collaboration with regional teams and documentation.
- Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, AutoCAD) and data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Python).
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TQM principles with a track record of successful process improvements.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or other quality management systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
