Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and optimize chemical manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production) to ensure seamless integration of new products and technologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions to maintain consistent product quality.
- Design and execute experiments (DoE) to validate process improvements and scale-up new formulations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental protocols (e.g., ISO, GMP, EHS).
- Prepare technical reports, SOPs, and documentation to support process validation and regulatory submissions.
- Train and mentor production staff on best practices, troubleshooting, and process control techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering within the chemical, pharmaceutical, or specialty materials industry.
- Strong knowledge of process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, COMSOL) and statistical analysis (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Proven track record in process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
- Familiarity with quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001, cGMP) and regulatory requirements for chemical manufacturing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to relocate to Badung, Bali or commute as required.
