Responsibility
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in local assembly operations.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to integrate new product designs into manufacturing processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot process-related issues to minimize downtime and defects.
- Design and execute process validation protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes, equipment, and best practices to uphold operational excellence.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to align processes and maintain consistent quality across the supply chain.
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions for all assembly processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in electronics manufacturing or assembly.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in using CAD software, statistical analysis tools, and process simulation software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or other relevant quality management systems.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to support process implementations or troubleshooting at subcontractor sites.
