Our client, a leading recruitment partner, is currently seeking a highly skilled Private Banking Settlements Specialist to join a prestigious financial institution in Singapore's Central Region.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of complex private banking transactions. You will leverage your expertise in the Avaloq system to ensure high-accuracy settlements, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance. Responsibility
- Manage the end-to-end settlement lifecycle for various private banking asset classes using the Avaloq core banking system.
- Execute daily trade confirmations, settlements, and monitoring of discrepancies to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform comprehensive reconciliations of cash and securities positions against internal records and custodian statements.
- Coordinate closely with Front Office Relationship Managers and external counterparties to resolve settlement exceptions.
- Maintain strict adherence to internal policies, AML/KYC guidelines, and MAS regulatory requirements.
- Participate in system UAT and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide expert support for corporate action processing and lifecycle management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Private Banking settlements or back-office operations.
- Hands-on, proficient experience with the Avaloq system is strictly required.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial instruments, including Fixed Income, Equities, FX, and Derivatives.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight settlement deadlines in a demanding environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
