Responsibility
- Lead and oversee manufacturing engineering activities in Engine Overhaul and Component Repair production areas.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in aerospace manufacturing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with aviation industry standards (e.g., FAA, EASA).
- Design and optimize production workflows, tooling, and fixtures for aerospace components.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing defects or inefficiencies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and production staff.
- Support the introduction of new technologies and automation in manufacturing processes.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including work instructions, process specifications, and engineering reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on aerospace, engine overhaul, or component repair.
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100, NADCAP) and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Familiarity with additive manufacturing, CNC machining, or precision engineering is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
