Responsibility
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate Mandarin language lessons to primary school students.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations, quizzes, and interactive activities.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enhance studentsâ understanding of Mandarin-speaking regions.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide updates on student performance and areas for improvement.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including games, songs, and multimedia, to make learning fun and effective.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student development.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Education, Linguistics, Chinese Language, or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Mandarin to primary school students, preferably in an international or multicultural setting.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin (HSK Level 5 or above preferred).
- Strong command of English to facilitate communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and the ability to inspire young learners.
- Familiarity with modern teaching techniques and educational technology.
