Responsibility
- Source and negotiate competitive freight rates from carriers and suppliers.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations for clients based on cost calculations.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop pricing strategies that win deals.
- Analyze market trends and adjust pricing models to remain competitive.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of freight costs, surcharges, and industry regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all quotations.
- Provide exceptional support to internal teams and external clients regarding pricing inquiries.
- Optimize pricing processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in freight pricing, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and pricing software.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong time management.
- Knowledge of international freight regulations and incoterms is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems is an advantage.
