Responsibility
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Engage children in interactive activities, including storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor play.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, addressing any concerns and sharing updates on their child's development.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards in the classroom.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early learning methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Creative and resourceful, with a passion for making learning fun and engaging.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
