Responsibility
- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and execute educational programs and activities.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, addressing any concerns and providing updates on their child's development.
- Ensure the classroom and materials are well-organized, clean, and conducive to learning.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture that celebrates diversity and encourages kindness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with young children in a preschool or early learning setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early learning frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
