Responsibility
- Develop and implement engaging Japanese language lesson plans tailored to preschool-aged children.
- Create a nurturing and interactive classroom environment that fosters language acquisition and cultural appreciation.
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing personalized feedback to parents and guardians.
- Organize and lead cultural activities, games, and storytelling sessions to enhance learning.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate Japanese language learning with other early childhood development areas.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student performance.
- Communicate effectively with parents to discuss their child’s development and address any concerns.
- Stay updated with modern teaching methodologies and incorporate innovative techniques into the curriculum.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, Japanese Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Japanese language teacher, preferably in a preschool or early childhood setting.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent preferred).
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education.
- Familiarity with early childhood development principles and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (work visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates).
