Responsibility
- Lead and coordinate daily café operations, ensuring smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting guests warmly and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Train and mentor junior staff on café standards, including coffee preparation, food presentation, and POS systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment to maintain seamless service.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards in compliance with food handling regulations.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and reconcile daily sales reports accurately.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely order fulfillment and maintain quality control.
- Assist in opening/closing duties, including setting up workstations and cleaning equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality role (prior supervisory experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are advantageous).
- Passion for coffee, food, and customer service with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- High standards of personal grooming and professionalism.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
