Responsibility

  • Lead and coordinate daily café operations, ensuring smooth service flow during peak hours.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, greeting guests warmly and addressing inquiries or concerns professionally.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on café standards, including coffee preparation, food presentation, and POS systems.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock replenishment to maintain seamless service.
  • Uphold hygiene and safety standards in compliance with food handling regulations.
  • Handle cash transactions, process payments, and reconcile daily sales reports accurately.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely order fulfillment and maintain quality control.
  • Assist in opening/closing duties, including setting up workstations and cleaning equipment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality role (prior supervisory experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are advantageous).
  • Passion for coffee, food, and customer service with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • High standards of personal grooming and professionalism.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
