Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a memorable café experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, equipment, and service areas.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies, and assist with restocking as needed.
- Operate cash registers, process payments, and handle customer transactions accurately.
- Educate customers on coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu offerings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to uphold health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role (preferred but not required; training provided).
- Strong passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about specialty brews and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., coffee bags).
