Join JEP Precision Engineering as a Precision Deburr Technician in our state-of-the-art Bali facility. Responsibility
- Inspect metal and plastic components for burrs, sharp edges, and surface defects using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Operate manual and automated deburring equipment (e.g., grinders, sanders, vibratory tumblers) to achieve smooth, defect-free finishes.
- Follow detailed blueprints, work orders, and quality control standards to ensure compliance with client specifications.
- Perform visual and tactile inspections to verify deburring quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, tools, and equipment to uphold safety and efficiency.
- Document inspection results and deburring processes in compliance with ISO and industry standards.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot defects and recommend process improvements.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including PPE usage and machine operation guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in deburring, machining, or quality inspection within manufacturing (metal/plastic preferred).
- Proficient in reading engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and using precision measuring tools.
- Hands-on experience with deburring tools (e.g., files, grinders, sandblasters) and finishing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect minor imperfections in components.
- Basic knowledge of material properties (e.g., aluminum, steel, ABS, nylon) and their deburring requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
- Good communication skills in English; ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
