Responsibility
- Lead and supervise daily operations of the CNC and manual machining divisions, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality components.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize machine utilization, reduce downtime, and improve overall efficiency.
- Oversee a team of 30+ technicians, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align machining processes with project requirements and quality standards.
- Monitor and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage maintenance schedules, tooling inventory, and equipment upgrades to ensure operational readiness.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including cost control measures for materials, labor, and overhead.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) are a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing large-scale operations.
- In-depth knowledge of CNC programming (G-code, M-code), CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam), and precision machining techniques.
- Proven track record in process optimization, cost reduction, and team leadership within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and metrology tools (CMM, calipers, micrometers).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia (relocation assistance may be provided).
