Responsibility
- Develop, optimize, and debug CNC programs (G-code, M-code) for complex machining operations using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
- Supervise and coordinate daily CNC production activities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate CNC operators and junior programmers to enhance team productivity and skill sets.
- Conduct regular machine maintenance checks and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine manufacturing processes and improve cycle times.
- Monitor tooling inventory, recommend upgrades, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, company SOPs, and industry best practices for precision machining.
- Generate reports on production metrics, machine performance, and process improvements for management review.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in CNC programming (milling, turning, or multi-axis machines).
- Proven track record in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing or machining environment.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or HyperMill) and CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Siemens).
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and blueprint reading.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze root causes of machining defects.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field is preferred.
