Responsibility
- Coordinate the development and approval of apparel samples, ensuring they meet design and quality standards.
- Manage pre-production timelines and milestones, ensuring all deadlines are met for seamless transition to full production.
- Liaise with global factories and suppliers to secure materials, samples, and production schedules.
- Conduct thorough reviews of sample submissions, providing detailed feedback to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all pre-production processes, including approvals, revisions, and timelines.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality assurance teams to resolve any pre-production issues.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and samples to avoid delays in the production pipeline.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations throughout the pre-production phase.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in apparel pre-production, sample coordination, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with global teams and suppliers.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining productivity and accountability.
