Responsibility
- Prepare and optimize digital files (PDF, AI, PSD, etc.) for high-resolution printing, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
- Perform color correction, retouching, and image enhancement to maintain brand consistency and visual appeal.
- Collaborate with designers and clients to review proofs, implement feedback, and finalize print-ready files.
- Troubleshoot and resolve pre-press issues such as font embedding, bleed settings, and resolution discrepancies.
- Manage file formats, dimensions, and output settings for various printing methods (offset, digital, large format).
- Conduct quality checks on final files to ensure accuracy in text, graphics, and color alignment.
- Stay updated with industry trends, software updates, and best practices in pre-press and print production.
- Maintain organized digital archives of project files and revisions for easy retrieval and reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pre-press, graphic design, or print production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and pre-press software (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Pro, PitStop).
- Strong understanding of color modes (CMYK, RGB, Pantone), file formats, and print-ready standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot errors in complex layouts.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, designers, and production teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
- Portfolio showcasing pre-press or print-ready design projects is a plus.
