Responsibility
- Design, develop, and optimize power distribution systems, including substations, transformers, and switchgear.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for new power infrastructure projects.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and maintain existing power networks, identifying and resolving inefficiencies or failures.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Implement sustainable and energy-efficient solutions, including integration of renewable energy sources.
- Prepare technical reports, schematics, and documentation for regulatory approvals and internal use.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and local/regional electrical codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in power infrastructure design, installation, or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including HV/MV/LV networks, protection systems, and SCADA.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., ETAP, AutoCAD, PSS/E) for modeling and simulation.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, etc.) and grid integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Project management experience, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise with international teams.
