Responsibility
- Perform humane and precise post-mortem examinations on poultry to collect organ samples for laboratory analysis.
- Follow strict biosecurity protocols to prevent cross-contamination between farms and samples.
- Document and label all samples accurately, ensuring traceability and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with farm managers and veterinary teams to coordinate sampling schedules and procedures.
- Operate and maintain sampling equipment, including sterilization tools and protective gear.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines for animal handling and welfare during all procedures.
- Prepare detailed reports on sampling activities, including observations and preliminary findings.
- Stay updated on avian disease trends and adjust sampling techniques as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in poultry farming, veterinary clinics, or laboratory sampling.
- Proven ability to handle live animals and perform dissections with precision.
- Knowledge of avian anatomy, pathology, and common poultry diseases.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following standardized procedures.
- Physical stamina to work in outdoor farm environments, often in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Willingness to travel to assigned farms in Bali (e.g., Badung, Denpasar, Ubud).
