Responsibility
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform chemical, physical, and mechanical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Document and report test results accurately, maintaining detailed records for compliance and traceability.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure precision and reliability in testing procedures.
- Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance quality control processes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory or quality assurance role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment such as spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and tensile testers.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, testing methodologies, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
