Responsibility
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of swimming pools, including skimming, vacuuming, and chemical balancing to ensure water quality and safety.
- Inspect and maintain pool equipment (filters, pumps, heaters) and report any malfunctions or repair needs.
- Mow, trim, and edge lawns, as well as prune trees, shrubs, and plants to keep gardens lush and well-groomed.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering of landscapes.
- Remove debris, leaves, and litter from pools, gardens, and walkways to uphold a pristine environment.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down outdoor furniture, umbrellas, and recreational equipment for guest use.
- Conduct regular safety checks of pool areas, including securing fences, ladders, and signage.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests or facility issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pool maintenance, landscaping, or a related field (preferably in a hospitality setting).
- Basic knowledge of pool chemistry and water treatment systems.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in outdoor conditions, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and pool equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic English communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by resort operations.
