Based in the vibrant hub of Denpasar, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, chemists, and quality assurance specialists. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to sustainable material development while advancing your career in a dynamic, globally recognized organization.
Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive testing of polymer materials (e.g., thermoplastics, elastomers, composites) using techniques like FTIR, DSC, TGA, and mechanical testing.
- Develop and validate test methodologies aligned with international standards (ISO, ASTM, UL) for polymer characterization.
- Analyze test data to assess material performance, degradation, and compliance with client specifications.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and certification documents for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to optimize polymer formulations for durability, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure laboratory equipment is calibrated, maintained, and operated in accordance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 17025).
- Provide expert consultation to clients on material selection, failure analysis, and compliance requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging polymer technologies and industry trends to enhance testing capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in polymer testing, materials characterization, or quality assurance within a TIC or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments (e.g., rheometers, spectrophotometers, universal testing machines).
- Strong knowledge of international testing standards (ISO, ASTM, EN) for polymers and plastics.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., LabVIEW, Origin, Excel) and technical report writing.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to interpret results and advise stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a commitment to precision and safety.
