As a Platform Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, monitor systems, and drive innovation in our tech stack. Your expertise will directly influence the stability and efficiency of our digital platforms.
Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable platform infrastructure using tools like Kong, Traefik, and WSO2 API Manager.
- Manage and optimize messaging systems including Kafka and RabbitMQ for high-throughput data processing.
- Implement and monitor observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Jaeger to ensure system reliability.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications using CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate identity and access management solutions using WSO2 Identity Server.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues to minimize downtime and improve performance.
- Document architecture, processes, and best practices for platform engineering.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance platform efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with API gateways (Kong, Traefik, WSO2), messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger).
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
