Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain utility systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Troubleshoot and repair utility systems and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and production teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new utility systems and equipment as needed.
- Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and other staff members as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Utilities Technician or in a similar maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong technical skills in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance and utilities management.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency calls as needed.
