Responsibility
- Oversee daily plant operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards and safety protocols.
- Develop, implement, and monitor departmental objectives, targets, and programs to align with organizational goals.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of plant staff, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, quality assurance, and maintenance, to optimize workflow and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and present findings to senior management.
- Manage inventory levels, procurement of raw materials, and logistics to minimize downtime and reduce operational costs.
- Drive initiatives for process optimization, waste reduction, and sustainability within the plant operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant supervision or operations management, preferably in the manufacturing, agribusiness, or logistics sector.
- Proven track record of leading teams, improving operational efficiency, and driving process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP or manufacturing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia) are a plus.
