Responsibility
- Oversee daily cold storage plant operations, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity, reduce costs, and improve workflows.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and maintain inventory control, ensuring accurate tracking of stored goods and minimizing losses.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations for food safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to streamline inbound and outbound processes.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance to prevent downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management, highlighting KPIs, challenges, and improvement plans.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in plant or warehouse management, with at least 2 years in cold storage operations.
- Proven track record in operational efficiency improvements and cost reduction strategies.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO standards, and other relevant food safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
