Responsibility
- Develop and implement comprehensive urban and regional plans in accordance with local regulations and best practices.
- Conduct research and analyze data to assess the impact of proposed plans on the community and environment.
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with government agencies, community groups, and private sector partners to gather input and ensure alignment with community needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of ongoing projects to ensure compliance with approved plans and timelines.
- Provide technical advice and support to internal teams and external partners on planning-related matters.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to enhance planning strategies.
- Participate in public consultations and meetings to present plans and gather feedback from the community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in urban planning, regional development, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in planning software and tools, such as GIS, AutoCAD, or similar applications.
- Knowledge of local regulations, zoning laws, and environmental policies related to urban planning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
