Responsibility
- Develop and maintain material requirement plans (MRP) to align with production schedules and demand forecasts.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to streamline supply chain operations.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Implement just-in-time (JIT) inventory strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce carrying costs.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to negotiate lead times, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in all planning activities.
- Utilize ERP or inventory management software to track and update material movements and production progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, inventory control, or logistics within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
