Responsibility
- Design and implement physical layouts for high-performance AI chips.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize chip performance and power efficiency.
- Conduct timing closure and signal integrity analysis to ensure design robustness.
- Develop and maintain design methodologies and flows for physical design.
- Perform floor planning, placement, and routing to meet design specifications.
- Analyze and resolve design issues related to power, area, and timing.
- Work closely with verification teams to ensure design correctness and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in semiconductor technology and apply them to design processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in physical design, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong knowledge of EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
- Experience with scripting languages like Tcl, Perl, or Python for automation.
- Familiarity with design methodologies for high-performance and low-power chips.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
