Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and tracking supplies.
- Process and verify patient prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Prepare and label medications, including compounding sterile and non-sterile products when required.
- Operate pharmacy software and systems to process prescriptions and manage data.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and medication management.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Technology or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role (fresh graduates with relevant training are welcome).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, medications, and dosage calculations.
