Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing prescription medications and verifying patient information.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and organizing medications and supplies.
- Process and prepare prescription orders using advanced pharmacy software systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, including proper labeling and documentation.
- Handle cash transactions and insurance claims with precision and professionalism.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless medication management for patients.
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay updated on pharmacy best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Pharmacy Technician is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, dosage calculations, and drug interactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and basic computer applications.
