Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in accurately dispensing prescription medications and verifying patient information.
- Manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and rotating medications.
- Process and prepare insurance claims, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and offering guidance on over-the-counter products.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and local healthcare regulations.
- Operate and maintain pharmacy equipment, such as automated dispensing systems and cash registers.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and medication management.
- Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay updated on industry best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or equivalent) is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, dosage calculations, and drug interactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and basic computer applications.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of ethical conduct and patient care.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
