Responsibility
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, assisting customers with product inquiries and recommendations.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit payments.
- Maintain a well-stocked and organized store, including restocking shelves and monitoring inventory levels.
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing pharmacy supplies and merchandise.
- Support the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions (where permitted) and preparing over-the-counter medications.
- Ensure the store adheres to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and escalate to management when necessary.
- Participate in promotional activities, sales campaigns, and in-store events to drive customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM/O-Level or equivalent qualification; higher education in pharmacy or retail is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or pharmacy is advantageous but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems and inventory software.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Familiarity with healthcare products, supplements, or OTC medications is a bonus.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
