Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently while adhering to healthcare regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, resolving concerns, and offering product recommendations.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and organizing merchandise to ensure availability.
- Process transactions, handle cash registers, and maintain accurate financial records for all sales.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination between pharmacy and clinic operations.
- Educate customers on over-the-counter medications, healthcare products, and general wellness practices.
- Assist in administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records with confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; certification in pharmacy or healthcare is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail, customer service, or pharmacy settings, with a strong focus on patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse customers and team members.
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, inventory systems, and point-of-sale (POS) software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of a healthcare environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
