Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and offering product recommendations.
- Manage inventory by restocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and placing orders as needed.
- Process transactions and handle cash register operations with precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy workspace in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist in administrative tasks such as filing prescriptions, updating patient records, and managing documentation.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality patient care.
- Stay updated on pharmacy policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in pharmacy assistance is a plus.
- Previous experience in a retail or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic computer skills for managing inventory systems and processing transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of basic pharmaceutical terminology and procedures is an advantage.
