Responsibility
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking, organizing, and monitoring medication supplies.
- Process prescriptions and maintain patient records with confidentiality and precision.
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions for over-the-counter sales.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and pharmacy standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy workspace.
- Support promotional activities and health awareness campaigns as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Pharmacy Assistance or a related field.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
