Responsibility
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
- Verify and review medication orders for appropriateness, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
- Provide pharmaceutical care by counseling patients and healthcare providers on proper medication use, side effects, and storage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medication records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and ensure the availability of essential medications.
- Participate in clinical rounds and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions on patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest pharmaceutical guidelines, drug information, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (S.Farm) and a Professional Pharmacist License (Apoteker).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital pharmacy is preferred; fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic uses of medications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with hospital pharmacy software and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical standards, and continuous professional development.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is a plus.
