Responsibility
- Provide expert advice to customers on pet nutrition, grooming, and general care for dogs, cats, and small animals.
- Assist customers in selecting the right products (food, toys, accessories) based on their pets’ needs and preferences.
- Demonstrate and explain the features of premium pet products, including food, supplements, and grooming tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment to enhance the shopping experience.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and manage inventory stock levels accurately.
- Educate customers on pet health, behavior, and wellness through workshops or one-on-one consultations.
- Collaborate with the team to execute promotional campaigns, loyalty programs, and in-store events.
- Stay updated on the latest pet care trends, product launches, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, customer service, or pet care (veterinary, grooming, or animal shelter experience is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping people and their pets.
- Basic knowledge of pet nutrition, health, and behavior (training will be provided for the right candidate).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, in a fast-paced retail setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management is advantageous.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a bonus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher education in animal science or related fields is preferred.
