Responsibility
- Conduct regular home visits to assess and monitor the physical, emotional, and psychological condition of pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized palliative care plans in collaboration with healthcare providers and families.
- Administer medications, manage pain, and provide symptom relief tailored to each childâs needs.
- Educate families on care techniques, disease progression, and coping strategies to empower them in supporting their child.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient progress, treatments, and communications with the care team.
- Offer emotional and spiritual support to patients and families, fostering a compassionate and trusting relationship.
- Coordinate with hospitals, hospices, and community resources to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Stay updated on best practices in pediatric palliative care and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Nursing (S.Kep) with a valid Indonesian nursing license (STR).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing, with specialized training or experience in palliative care preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in pain management, symptom assessment, and pediatric care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate, patient, and emotionally resilient with a deep commitment to ethical and holistic care.
- Ability to work independently, make critical decisions, and adapt to dynamic home care environments.
- Familiarity with Baliâs healthcare landscape and willingness to travel within the specified regions.
- Certification in palliative care (e.g., from Hospice Palliative Care Indonesia) is a plus.
