Responsibility

  • Oversee and execute end-to-end payroll processing, including data validation, salary calculations, tax deductions, and disbursement, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce payroll policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with local labor laws and company regulations.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive payroll reports to stakeholders, including HR, Finance, and senior management, with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies, address employee inquiries, and implement process improvements.
  • Manage payroll-related audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily available for review.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws, tax regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
  • Train and mentor junior payroll staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Leverage payroll software and tools to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and data security in payroll operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving payroll-related issues.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
