Responsibility
- Process monthly payroll for employees across multiple departments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local labor laws and company policies.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and tax withholdings, before finalizing payments.
- Collaborate with HR to onboarding new hires, offboarding departing employees, and updating payroll records accordingly.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including summaries for management, tax filings, and audits.
- Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain confidential payroll records and ensure data integrity through regular audits and backups.
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations, labor laws, and payroll best practices to ensure compliance.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of payroll software or systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multinational or diverse workforce environment.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or local Indonesian systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian labor laws, tax regulations, and social security contributions (BPJS).
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with HR, finance teams, and employees.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll data.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies independently.
