Responsibility
- Process monthly payroll for employees across the APAC region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee data, tax withholdings, and benefits deductions.
- Coordinate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and government agencies as required.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, labor regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in the implementation of payroll software upgrades and process improvements.
- Liaise with external payroll vendors and auditors to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Support year-end payroll activities, including tax filings and W-2/1099 preparations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws in the APAC region.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in payroll (e.g., CPP, FPC) is a plus.
