Responsibility
- Process payroll for multiple Australian entities accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with Australian payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Maintain and update payroll records and employee data.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
- Assist in year-end payroll activities, including tax filings and audits.
- Provide support for payroll-related inquiries from employees.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll legislation and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably with Australian payroll.
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll regulations and tax requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Certification in payroll (e.g., CPP, FPC) is a plus.
