Responsibility
- Process and verify payments received via check, credit card, or other designated methods.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions in compliance with company policies.
- Ensure all payments are deposited within the agreed turnaround time (TAT) to avoid delays.
- Reconcile payment records with bank statements and internal systems to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies or issues related to payments.
- Generate and distribute payment reports for internal stakeholders as required.
- Adhere to data privacy and security protocols when handling sensitive financial information.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external parties regarding payment inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payment processing, accounts receivable, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage high volumes of transactions accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software or ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with payment gateways, credit card processing, and banking procedures.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
