Responsibility
- Assist customers with pawn transactions, including loan processing, item appraisal, and redemption.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and offering product information.
- Handle cash transactions, including loans, repayments, and sales, with precision and integrity.
- Inspect and evaluate the condition and authenticity of items brought in for pawning or sale.
- Ensure the security and organization of the pawnshop inventory, including proper storage and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain a clean, welcoming store environment.
- Stay updated on market trends and pricing to provide fair and competitive offers to customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in retail or customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role, preferably in a pawnshop or financial services environment.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills to accurately assess items and handle financial transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
