Responsibility
- Manage patient admissions by verifying personal and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital policies.
- Process billing transactions, including invoicing, payment collections, and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and empathy.
- Coordinate with medical staff, insurance providers, and other departments to facilitate smooth patient flow and billing operations.
- Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and billing statements for management review.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient files, and updating electronic health records (EHR).
- Participate in training programs and stay updated on healthcare billing practices and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in patient admissions, billing, or a similar administrative role in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in using healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Strong understanding of medical billing processes, insurance claims, and healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, medical staff, and insurance providers.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial transactions.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with local healthcare policies and procedures in Bali is a plus.
